The install CD has both a stand-alone and server/client install.
Any downloaded version from our website is for stand-alone only.
Stand-alone version ...
20 mb space (including project files)
256mb RAM & 1Ghz(minimum)
512mb RAM & 2 Ghz or above (recommended)
Workstation...
1 mb space for project files
256mb RAM & 1Ghz(minimum)
512mb RAM & 2 Ghz or above (recommended)
For the server, the client is very thin (66k). It contains only a local INI file and a desktop icon and list in Programs menu.
The client loads the whole programme into memory (approx 4mb) and all data is processed locally.
Client installs on to a workstation - do not allow stand-alone use.
Server install you need ...
15mb space (excluding project files - average 50k).
The software does not use a proprietary database or require internet connection to operate.
